The Santa Cruz Seaside Company is a locally-owned organization which operates the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, The Grove: Santa Cruz Event Center, Boardwalk Bowl, the Inns of Santa Cruz, and Chardonnay Sailing Charters.

For Seasonal (part time) jobs, please use the general ‘Seasonal Jobs for 16/18+’ job application and then you can discuss the best job for you with a Boardwalk recruiter! For Full Time jobs, please submit an application for each job you are interested in. 

Yes. An application is required, but you may also attach your resume within the application.

We hire for ages 16+ (some openings for 14 year-olds)

Typically, hiring begins in early January and will continue throughout the summer. The Boardwalk is open on weekends year-round and daily during our extended Spring Break season. Please see our calendar for more information about the Boardwalk’s operating schedule.

Current team members can apply to different jobs (within their own department OR in another department) within UKG and following these steps: Menu > My Info > My Career > Search for Jobs. This will show you the jobs we are currently hiring for. Once you apply, a recruiter may reach out to schedule an interview with you and/or you can check in with Human Resources on the status of your application. 

Park in the Boardwalk’s Main Parking Lot, across the street from Neptune’s Kingdom. Please bring your parking ticket and we will validate it for free parking. Current team members get free parking on work days and can access the parking lot through the Employee Entrance and scanning their Employee ID at the entrance and exits.

FAQs for Former Team Members

Yes, you will need to complete the onboarding process again due to legally required paperwork and state compliance training that must be completed before starting work. Boardwalk Essentials is required every 2 years so if you worked with us within the last year, you do not need to complete Boardwalk Essentials during your onboarding. 

Not necessarily. Our openings will vary depending on when you are able to interview with us and begin working. Our current positions and your interests will be discussed at your interview.
